This could be a big writing, I’ll keep it small for now.
What I want to mention is that it may be unclear in a lot of places WHO IS IN CHARGE. WHO is the ACTUAL LEADERSHIP at least here in the United States of America.
Let me preface why I wrote “blacks and whites”. There has been a politically correct view that in the U.S.A. we are NOT supposed to label a very dark skinned person a “black”. What is interesting is, maybe I’ve not seen it in person… people do not hesitate to refer to very light skinned people as “white”. As far as I know, Mexicans don’t mind being “brown”. I think some Asians here laugh being called “yellow”.
Historically, “dark skinned people” in the U.S.A. have been labeled a “slave race”. Some very white people may also include Asians and Mexicans as “slave traded races”. What I have witnessed are ALSO… are “white people” who groveled and complained and even wept as “whites that are slave traded”. If this is actually going on in the U.S.A., it means NO ONE HERE IS ACTUALLY FREE.
Hey get this… if most of us in the U.S.A. are “slave traded” whatever our skin colors, we are brothers and sisters under the fathers of the country itself.
It could be time to stop picking on each other’s colors and races and places of origin. When it comes to being enslaved and slave traded and pushed around and basic human rights removed and ignored–we are actually very close relatives.
You could take this a step further in understanding something. Whoever, where ever you and I are from it may not be our fault or our parents’ fault or grandparents’ fault. Society and slavery could have actually disrupted a natural path of growth and development–not just financial and physical, also social, educational and locations of birth and current residence.
Thinking about all this makes me personally less judgemental in some ways. I do note where people live and what their life experiences are. It tell me why they’ve been sent to me or why we were allowed to cross paths. Sadly, there is a lot more human trafficking going on than people admit to. It means our daily and life relationships may be more pre-planned and engineered than you may think. Which tells me personally, WE NEED TO FIND A WAY TO GET ALONG. FIND WAYS to not have friction between us all. CONFLICTS are causing people to be trafficked even socially.
Back to skin colors. I’m not saying we have to seek out a variety of skin colors to be friends with daily. What I am saying is we could be more friendly and less judgemental with each other. Someone is trafficking us all. We have come from very different places in most circumstances. Let’s try to understand each others and what our slave traders are seeking. Let’s also not try to instantly hate due to past stereotypes.
Our world now IS NOT THE SAME ONE as 50+ years ago.
It may be the slave traders trying to make us think nothing has changed.
